These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Funds Benchmark website at fundsbenchmark.com and the Funds Benchmark iOS mobile application (together, the "Platform"), operated by Storm Digital Advertising Ltd, trading as Funds Benchmark ("we", "us", "our").
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform. We recommend that you read these Terms carefully before using the Platform, and that you print or save a copy for your records.
Funds Benchmark is a fund research and information platform available as a website and as an iOS mobile application. We provide fund data, performance information, comparison tools, screening functionality, and AI-generated analysis and forecasts for informational purposes only.
Nothing on the Platform constitutes financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, a personal recommendation, or an offer or solicitation to buy, sell, or hold any investment, financial product, or security.
The information, data, analysis, AI-generated forecasts, and editorial content on the Platform are provided for general informational and research purposes only. They are not intended to be, and should not be construed as, advice on which you should rely. You should obtain independent professional advice before making any investment decision.
AI-generated forecasts and analysis represent model outputs based on available data at the time of generation. They are probabilistic estimates, not predictions. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. AI-generated content should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any investment decision.
We do not assess the suitability of any fund or investment for any individual user. If you are a financial adviser using the Platform in connection with your advisory services, you remain solely responsible for your own due diligence, suitability assessments, and client recommendations.
Fund data displayed on the Platform — including performance figures, AuM, share class information, and fund attributes — is sourced from FE FundInfo. While we take reasonable steps to ensure the data is current and accurate, we do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or timeliness of any data on the Platform.
Fund data may be subject to delays, errors, or omissions in the underlying data feed. AuM figures are reported as at the date indicated and may not reflect current values. Performance data is calculated on the basis provided by FE FundInfo and may differ from figures published by the fund manager or other data providers.
You should always verify key data points against the fund's official documentation (prospectus, KIID/KID, factsheet) before making or recommending any investment.
Certain content on the Platform is generated by artificial intelligence models, including fund forecasts, editorial analysis, and investment commentary. All AI-generated content is clearly labelled.
AI-generated content is produced automatically and is not reviewed by a human analyst prior to publication. While we design our models to produce reasonable and well-sourced outputs, we do not warrant that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or free from error. AI models may produce outputs that are incorrect, misleading, or based on incomplete information.
You use AI-generated content at your own risk and should treat it as one input among many in your research process.
Some features of the Platform require you to create an account. When you register, you agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must not share your account with others, create multiple accounts, or allow anyone else to access the Platform using your credentials. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Access to certain features requires a paid subscription. Subscription pricing, features, and billing frequency are set out on our pricing page and may be updated from time to time.
Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods unless required by applicable law.
You agree not to use the Platform to:

All content on the Platform — including text, data, graphics, logos, software, AI-generated outputs, and the Platform's design and structure — is owned by us or our licensors (including FE FundInfo) and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may use the Platform for your own professional research purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from the Platform's content without our prior written consent, except to the extent permitted by applicable law or as specifically enabled by the Platform's features (for example, printing a comparison for client records).
Fund data is provided under licence from FE FundInfo and is subject to their terms. You may not redistribute FE FundInfo data.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
We provide the Platform on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components.
We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including any losses arising from investment decisions made in reliance on information, data, or AI-generated content obtained from the Platform.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the Platform shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in subscription fees in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. We do not control or endorse those sites and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their own terms and policies.
We may update, modify, or discontinue any feature of the Platform at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting a notice on the Platform or by email. Your continued use of the Platform after any change constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
You may stop using the Platform and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at our discretion if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Platform.
On termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including sections on limitation of liability, intellectual property, and disclaimers.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
