Searching for a fund
Using the search bar
- Click the search bar at the top of any page.
- Start typing the fund name, manager name, ISIN, or Citi code. Results appear as you type.
- Click on a fund from the dropdown to go directly to its detail page.
Search tips
- You can search by fund name (e.g. "Fidelity Global Technology"), manager (e.g. "BlackRock"), ISIN (e.g. "LU0099574567"), or Citi code (e.g. "03CX").
- Partial matches work — typing "emerging" will show all funds with "emerging" in the name.
- If a fund has multiple share classes, the search returns the fund-level result. You can view all share classes on the fund detail page.
Using the fund screener
The screener lets you filter the full fund universe to find exactly what you're looking for.
Applying filters
- Navigate to the Fund Finder page from the main menu.
- Use the filter panel to narrow your search. Available filters include asset class (Equity, Fixed Income, Multi-Asset, Emerging Markets, ESG/Sustainable, Thematic, Real Assets, Commodities, Alternatives), domicile (UK, Ireland, Luxembourg, Australia, UAE), currency, fund type (ETFs, passive, or active), and manager.
- Results update automatically as you apply filters.
- Click any fund in the results to view its full detail page.
Clearing & sorting
Click Clear all at the top of the filter panel to reset all filters and return to the full universe. Click any column header to sort — click again to reverse the direction.

Using AI forecasting
AI forecasts are available on selected fund detail pages and provide a forward-looking analysis of each fund.
What a forecast contains
- Base case — The model's central estimate for the fund's return over the forecast period.
- Bull case — An optimistic scenario if key positive drivers play out.
- Bear case — A pessimistic scenario if key risks materialise.
- Confidence level — A percentage indicating how confident the model is in the base case. Higher confidence generally means more stable, predictable fund characteristics.
- Investment thesis — A plain-English summary of the fund's positioning and outlook.
- Key drivers — The specific factors the model identified as most likely to influence performance.
- Risk factors — The principal risks, each rated by severity (high, medium, low).
Important: AI forecasts are intended as one research input among many. They are not investment advice and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any investment decision. Forecasts are updated periodically and reflect market conditions at the time of generation.
AI editorial content
Funds Benchmark publishes AI-generated editorial analysis highlighting notable trends, performance outliers, and market movements across the fund universe.
Where to find it
- The homepage features the latest editorial stories.
- Each story includes the data points it references, the type of analysis (performance, macro, product, or AI-driven), and its source attribution.
How it's generated
Our AI models scan performance data across the platform and identify stories worth highlighting — whether that's a fund significantly outperforming its peers, a sector rotation that could affect portfolio allocations, or an emerging trend in a specific asset class. Stories are regenerated regularly to keep the analysis current.
