The Fund is classified as a financial product under Article 8 of the EU Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation. The Fund promotes environmental or social characteristics but does not have a sustainable investment objective. The Fund integrates ESG factors and risk in the investment process alongside traditional factors. Detailed information on the sustainability related disclosures of the Fund can be found in the Template Pre-contractual disclosure (annex of the prospectus) on https://am.gs.com/en-int/advisors/funds. The fund invests in companies, established, listed or traded in any emerging or developing country in Latin America (including the Caribbean), Asia (excluding Japan), Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The dividend yield (dividend as a percentage of the share price) of the portfolio is targeted to be superior to the benchmark. The portfolio is diversified across countries and business sectors. The fund uses active management to target companies that score well according to our fundamental in-vestment process, with stock and sector deviation limits maintained relative to the benchmark. Its stock-level composition will therefore materially deviate from the benchmark. The Fund may also invest directly, up to 20% of its net assets, in mainland China via Stock Connect which is the mutual market access programme through which investors can deal in selected securities. Measured over a period of several years, we aim to beat the performance of the benchmark MSCI Emerging Markets (NR). The benchmark is a broad representation of our investment universe. The fund may also include investments into securities that are not part of the benchmark universe. The fund’s stock selection process is driven by the analysis of fundamental data and includes the consideration of ESG factors. You can sell your participation in this fund on each (working) day on which the value of the units is calculated, which for this fund occurs daily. The fund does not aim to provide you with a dividend. It will reinvest all earnings.
